Hotel Villa Fortuna - La Fortuna

The staff was friendly, big and comfortable rooms, nice pool and grounds, set away from town but still easy to access, clean and basic rooms, immaculate hotel and landscaping.

my recent stay in la fortuna was amazing. villa fortuna exceeded my expectations with their great location, comfortable rooms, and helpful staff. the view of the volcano from the porch was breathtaking, and the open kitchen was a bonus for cooking and enjoying meals. highly recommend!

Noisy neighbor was a downside.

The hotel provided a delicious breakfast every morning with a choice between omelets and a traditional Costa Rican breakfast. The free kitchen in the hotel was great, allowing families to cook their own meals. The location of the hotel was perfect, as there was a supermarket just steps away.

The lack of security was a concern, as there was no gate to close at night. The thin walls made for a noisy stay, with traffic and outside noise easily heard.

The room had a fridge and safe. Towels arranged differently each day. Balcony with chairs and table. Kids enjoyed big swimming pool. Staff suggested local hot springs. Open kitchen. Loved it!

The highlight was the beautiful pool area surrounded by a variety of birds and butterflies. The owner and his family were incredibly kind and generous, offering free coffee and use of kitchen facilities. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay in La Fortuna. The location was just the right distance from town - not too far, but still offering a sense of seclusion.

Excellent surroundings, nature-friendly. Wake up to birds and Hen calls. Good kitchen facility for families with children. Friendly staff. 10 min walk from downtown, with Pali grocery store nearby. Great volcano view.

The room was clean, quiet, and spacious with a comfy bed and nice pillows. The grocery store and restaurant nearby were handy.
